Our aquariums are all individually filtered, so if an issue arises, it is isolated to that particular tank, and does not affect any other fish.

We also buy certain varieties of fish from local breeders, which eliminates shipping stress.

You will not find ‘painted’ or ‘tattooed’ fish at Finaddicts. A common method of creating ‘painted’ fish is through multiple injections with a syringe, or dipping the fish into a caustic solution to strip their natural slime coat, then dipped in dye. ‘Tattooing’ involves using a low-intensity laser with a dye. Painted or tattooed fish have a high mortality rate, and in the ones that survive, the dye usually wears off in six to nine months. We believe fish should be enjoyed in their natural state, and find no need to enhance them.
